October 6, 2026: High School applications, LaGuardia applications, and SHSAT registration open
October 30, 2026: SHSAT registration deadline
December 4, 2026: High School & LaGuardia application deadline
March 3, 2027: High School offers released
NYC Public Middle School Admissions (in case this is also relevant)
October 14, 2026: Middle School applications open
November 2, 2026: Mark Twain & District 21 Talent Test registration deadline
December 11, 2026: Middle School application deadline
April 7, 2027: Middle School offers released
NYC Independent (Private) High Schools
Late Summer–Early Fall 2026: Most applications open (timing varies by school)
November–Early December: Application deadlines (check each school's website—some deadlines are earlier)
January 2027: Supplemental materials and ISEE/SSAT scores are typically due
February 19, 2027: Admissions decisions released for most Grade 9 applicants
Mid-March 2027: Parent enrollment deadline

August 24, 2026: TACHS registration opens
