Timeline for NYc High School Admissions Season

Tuesday, Oct 7th, 2025 → High School Application Opens in MySchools

Friday, October 31st, 2025 → deadline to register for the SHSAT.

Wednesday, Nov 12, 2025 → SHSAT School-Day Testing (DOE 8th graders)

Saturday, Nov 15 + Sunday, Nov 16, 2025 → SHSAT Weekend Testing (charter, private, homeschool, DOE 6–12 schools)

Saturday, Nov 22 + Sunday Nov, 23, 2025 → SHSAT 9th Grade Testing

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 → deadline to submit the High School Application.

Thursday, March 5, 2026 →day all high school offers will be released.

We still don’t have cut-offs for Screened Groups.
